Chiropractic Adjustments

Dr. Amanda Smicklas has 21 years of expertise and training in specific Chiropractic techniques.  Adjustments are made to various joints on the body in order to restore and increase their function and movability. These alterations assist in achieving the best function as possible for the body, decreasing pain and increasing the body’s ability to move and function. Dr. Smicklas’ techniques are personalized for each patient's individual needs, including:

01

Palmer Package

The term “Palmer Package” refers to a core collection of chiropractic techniques taught at Palmer College of Chiropractic—the first and one of the most influential chiropractic schools in the world. These techniques form the foundational adjusting methods for many chiropractors trained at Palmer. The main goal is to equip future practitioners with a broad range of manual (hands-on) techniques that address different patient needs and presentations.

02

Activator Methods

At Life is Good Chiropractic, we are proud to offer the Activator Methods® Chiropractic Technique—one of the most researched, low-force, and comfortable methods of chiropractic adjusting available. This technique uses a small, hand-held instrument called the Activator to deliver precise impulses to the spine or extremities, promoting improved alignment and function without the twisting or cracking sounds often associated with manual adjustments.

03

Thompson Drop Technique

At  Life is Good Chiropractic, we believe in providing a variety of chiropractic techniques to suit every patient’s comfort level and condition. One of our popular approaches is the Thompson Drop Technique, also known as the Thompson Terminal Point Technique. This gentle yet effective method utilizes a specialized drop table to deliver precise adjustments with minimal force and maximum comfort.

04

Trigger Point Therapy

At Life is Good Chiropractic, we understand that muscle tension and “knots” can significantly impact your overall well-being. Trigger Point Therapy targets these localized areas of tightness, known as “trigger points,” which can cause pain, stiffness, and referred discomfort in other parts of the body. Combining Chiropractic expertise with specialized trigger point techniques, we aim to reduce pain, increase flexibility, and enhance your quality of life.

05

Diversified

AtLife is Good Chiropractic, we offer a variety of chiropractic services to address the unique needs of each patient. One of our most commonly used and highly versatile approaches is the Diversified Technique. Known for its precise manual adjustments and time-tested methods, Diversified is designed to restore proper movement and alignment to the spine—and, by extension, support overall health and well-being.

06

Prenatal Care

At Life is Good Chiropractic, we understand that pregnancy is a time of tremendous physical, emotional, and hormonal changes. As your body adapts to support a growing baby, you may experience discomfort or pain, especially in the lower back or pelvis. Our prenatal Chiropractic care uses gentle, specialized techniques to help relieve pain, promote proper spinal alignment, and support a healthy pregnancy journey.

07

Corrective Exercises

At Life Is Good Chiropractic, we believe that true, lasting wellness extends beyond Chiropractic adjustments. That’s why we offer Corrective Exercises—targeted movements and routines designed to strengthen, stabilize, and balance your body. When combined with Chiropractic care, these exercises can help you heal faster, maintain proper alignment longer, and enhance overall function.

08

Special Needs Care

At Life is Good Chiropractic, we believe that everyone—regardless of physical or developmental challenges—deserves access to high-quality, compassionate chiropractic care. Our Chiropractic Special Needs Care program is designed to meet patients where they are, adapting our techniques and environment to ensure comfort, safety, and positive outcomes for those with additional needs.

09

Infant and Children Care

At Life is Good Chiropractic, we believe that a healthy start can have a lasting impact on a child’s well-being. Our **pediatric chiropractic services** are designed to support the unique needs of infants, toddlers, and children as they grow and develop. Using gentle, specialized techniques, we aim to help reduce discomfort, encourage proper alignment, and promote overall wellness for your little ones.
